I see a Michigan filled with endless opportunities for our young kids to go to sleep dreaming about.
I see those kids waking up with an opportunity to go out and make those dreams a reality.
Today we have an opportunity to make that happen! I have wanted nothing more than to make the world a better place since returning from Iraq in December 2007. This is my opportunity to start doing just that, but I need your vote.
I bring ideas, solutions, experience, and integrity. Most importantly for me, failure is not an option.
When elected my initiative will produce tomorrow's political and business leaders. Under my initiative the worlds's best doctors, scientists, leaders, and people will be made in Michigan.
All graduating students will be required to attend college classes and/or job transition during their final semester under the guidance of life coaches. Michigan high school graduate unemployment should be zero.
If we want to set our kids and Michigan up to thrive we need to provide them the proper tools. All Michigan students will start school with long term stock and retirement accounts they will manage through K-12 and beyond through MIstocks.
We need to realize and appreciate the impact our schools have on our future. Increasing teacher compensation, eliminating homework, modernizing Michigan schools, and curriculum reform is my priority.
Invest in advances in road materials for stronger, sustainable, more environmentally friendly roads.
Too many rural areas of Michigan lack adequate connectivity. We need to invest in advancements in orbital communication to connect all of Michigan to the world.
We need to prepare Michigan for for the rising number of electric vehicles. More charging stations and incentives for businesses to add charging stations and connected roads.
Robots have steadily become a necessity in our modern world. Many michigan schools have robotics programs, but lack local jobs to match their skills and interests. Offering small business grants to next generation industries will help spark the next industrial revolution.
As manufacturing technologies progress and emerging commodities grow in demand we need to offer subsidies to help these new industries find a home in Michigan. Everything in our society needs microchips to work. These are permanent, high paying jobs.
Electric vehicles and modern power systems are growing in mass adoption. It is important that Michigan grow from its roots in car manufacturing to capitalize on new and emerging technologies.
Insurance companies profit margins are higher than ever. They change their algorithm annually to deny as many claims as possible. Leaving you with the bill, no coverage, and another policy premium.
We owe it to our citizens to ensure they start their lives as healthy as possible and are well taken care of in old age. We can not continue throwing away billions in inefficient spending while ignoring this very basic responsibility to these most vulnerable groups.
Require all health insurance plans in Michigan to cover vision, dental, and general health together in one comprehensive plan. Michiganders should not need 3-4 different types of insurance for one human body.
Trillion dollar companies are trillion dollar companies because of your private data. They need to compensate users or stop collecting your data without permission. If they can pay shareholders a dividend then they can pay you a dividend.
The Federal government has failed to protect our private data from private companies. Creating MIAID will protect consumers information and protect online identity. MIAID require advertisers to pay users for access to their data and enforce protections for those who don’t.
Investing in smart traffic systems will reduce idling, maximize commerce efficiency, and add next generation connectivity to every road in Michigan.
A silent problem for too long. Many families struggle to provide for these very basic needs.
People are taxed to the brim. It’s time we give our most vulnerable people a chance to get ahead.
Nothing in life is free, but hard work should be rewarded. We need to set our citizens up for success early on and incentivize higher education pursuits.
